Pat Foster and Jen Berean have been working collaboratively since 2001. Based in Melbourne,their practice employs a diverse array of materials and processes, moving between the production of transitory architectural spaces, objects and images. Recent exhibitions include ‘ART1’ ACCA regional tour, Shepparton Art Gallery; ‘Cluster and Connect’, Sutton Project Space, ‘The Problem with Stability’, Pallas Contemporary Projects, Dublin; ‘NEW09’ Australian Centre for Contemporary Art; ‘Low Expectations’ Murray White Room. They are represented by Murray White Room, Melbourne.
Their work for db continues an ongoing interest in the material and ideological structures of architecture and civic spaces, ideas of use and misuse, and how we exist or counter-exist with our built environment.
