September 2010 marks the second year anniversary of Oh Really Gallery, we’re celebrating a space built on high hopes, little experience and pockets full of busking money. Driftwood is a group exhibition that requires working with found wood, revisiting a time when what we discovered on the street was treasured working material. Before opening Oh Really we were drawing characters on pieces of old wood, spraying cupboard doors and giving them away for donations. ‘Driftwood’ is an ode to the busking days and the spirit of the culture we are apart of find something others discard and make it beautiful. The street provides.
